Our Picnic in the Park on September 30 was a big success. 150 members enjoyed a free meal catered by Twohey’s, music, games and prizes. Everyone received a raffle ticket and many gift cards were won. The hot fudge sundaes were delicious!
The Arcadia Police Department’s K-9 unit joined us and their dogs, Zoli and Kota. They were a big hit, especially with the children. Tom Metzger and Glenn Oyoung from the Arcadia Police Foundation spoke about the Foundation’s work in acquiring the dogs and providing total funding for the program.
