Package Stolen Off Front Porch
Caught on Camera in the Act of Stealing
-Article by David Arvizu
May. 2th, 2025:
On Friday afternoon around 2:20 pm, this video was captured on a homeowner's security camera on the 1600 block of Highland Oaks Drive. The man can be seen approaching the property from the north and walking toward the front porch. The suspect is carrying a package pretending to be a deliveryman. When he reaches the front door, he quickly drops the "fake" package and steals the other package that is there. The man then runs up the driveway heading north again.

Since this happened in the middle of the day, about the time when school lets out, it is likely that several people saw this man in the neighborhood.

The suspect can be described as a white male, approximately 30-40 years old. Bald, shaven head with facial hair on his chin. He appears to be about 5 foot 10 inches tall and 190 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and baggy gray sweatpants.
Please check your security cameras to see if you caught this man and his vehicle on video, as it is likely that he visited several houses before stealing from this house. It is also likely that he parked his vehicle north of this house, probably several houses away.
Hopefully someone in the neighborhood will have video of his vehicle , with the possibility of identifying the license plate number.

Pass on any relevant information to either your Block Captain or the Arcadia Police Department.
